Ghulam Ali (born 1940) is a maestro of the Patiala Gharana and a disciple of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. He is famous for his unique style of blending classical ragas with ghazals, which resulted in hits like “Chupke Chupke Raat Din”. He has been honoured with the Pride of Performance in 1979 and the Sitara-i-Imtiaz in 2013.
