Musarrat Nazir (born 1940) is a famous Pakistani singer and film actress, affectionately known as “The Silver Screen’s Sparkling Star”. She was a leading actress in Urdu and Punjabi films during the 1950s and 1960s. Later in her career, she made a successful comeback to focus on singing traditional wedding and folk songs. She has won three Nigar Awards and was presented with the Pride of Performance award in 1989 for her contributions to the arts. She is the aunt of actress Bushra Ansari.
