★ Aziz Mian Biography
Aziz Mian (1942–2000) was a legendary Qawwal known for his unique, powerful, and often high-pitched performance style and philosophical depth. He held master’s degrees in Urdu, Persian, Arabic, and history and was known for performing the longest qawwalis in live settings. His famous tracks include “Allah Hi Jane Kaun Bashar Hai” and “Main Sharabi”. In recognition of his services to philosophy and music, he was awarded the Pride of Performance in 1989.
