Ali Haider is a Pakistani pop singer and actor who became a household name in the early 1990s with the release of his hit album Sandesa in 1993, which featured the timeless single “Purani Jeans”. He followed this success with other popular songs such as “Chand Sa Mukhra”. Beyond his music career, Haider has appeared in numerous PTV serials and is also known as a cyber security expert. He briefly paused his mainstream music career following a personal tragedy to focus on Islamic religious music (hamd and naat) before making a comeback to pop music in 2012.
