★ Saleem Raza Biography
Saleem Raza (1932–1983) was a prominent Pakistani playback singer who was born Noel Dias in a Christian family in Amritsar. After migrating to Lahore following Partition and changing his name, he started his career at Lahore Radio Station. He achieved immense fame with the classic and enduring song “Jan-e-Baharaan Rashk-e-Chaman” from the 1962 film Azra and sang for over 100 films before moving to Canada in 1975.
