Khan Sahib Munawar Ali Khan (1930–1989) was a leading vocalist of the esteemed Kasur Patiala gharana (musical lineage), specializing in both classical khayal and various semi-classical forms. He was the younger son of the legendary Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and received rigorous training from both his father and his uncle, Barkat Ali Khan. After his father’s passing, he pursued a successful solo career and achieved top-grade artist status for All India Radio.
