Gulshan Ara Syed was a renowned vocalist born in Mymensingh, East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), who moved to Pakistan in 1979. She achieved instant fame overnight after her debut on PTV’s popular music program Khusboo in 1980, where she impressed audiences with her exceptional command over classical music (raags) and ghazals. Her most memorable and notable ghazal remains “Tumharey Shehr Ka Mausam Bara Suhana Lagey”.
