★ Ustad Muhammad Juman Biography
Ustad Muhammad Juman (1935–1990) was a legendary Pakistani musician and folk singer from Balochistan. He was widely known for blending complex classical music techniques with Sindhi Sufi poetry, particularly the kalaams of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and Khwaja Ghulam Farid. Starting his career as a surando (fiddle) player at Radio Pakistan, he quickly became a popular singer known for his innovative style. His famous songs include “Muhinjo Mulk Malir”. He was honoured with the Pride of Performance Award in 1980.
