★ Strings Biography
Strings was an internationally acclaimed Pakistani pop rock band that became one of the most successful bands in South Asia. Formed in 1988 by four college friends in Karachi (Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia, Rafiq Wazir Ali, and Kareem Bashir Bhoy), they were known for hits like “Duur”, “Dhaani”, and “Sohniye”. The band enjoyed a successful comeback in the 2000s as a duo before disbanding permanently in March 2021 after 33 years.
