★ Zia Mohyeddin Biography
Zia Mohyeddin (1931–2023) was a celebrated Pakistani and British actor, producer, television broadcaster, and literary giant known for his distinctive Urdu poetry and prose recitations. After training at RADA in London and appearing in Lawrence of Arabia (1962), he became famous in Pakistan for The Zia Mohyeddin Show on PTV. In 2005, he founded the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA). He was honoured with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz and Sitara-i-Imtiaz for his immense contributions to the arts.
