★ Vital Signs Biography
Vital Signs was a pioneering pop-rock band formed in 1988 in Rawalpindi by Rohail Hyatt, Shahzad Hassan, Junaid Jamshed, and Nusrat Hussain. They are widely credited as the “pioneers of pop music” in Pakistan and achieved instant fame with their iconic patriotic song “Dil Dil Pakistan,” which was later voted the third most popular song of all time by the BBC World. The band released several highly successful albums before disbanding in 1998.
